Meet the Team

Angela

I live on a hobby farm outside a small town in Texas with my husband, children and pets, mostly rescues. I'm a child development professional, writer, and animal advocate. The idea of opening a rescue grew from the reality that almost every animal we have came to us either as a stray or because someone else gave up a pet to us that they could not longer care for. At some point I just realized I wanted to expand on that and help even more. This is the fruition of that dream.

Jessi

I was raised around animals and I always knew I wanted to work with them. My dream as a child was to have my own petting zoo. As an adult, my dream has evolved into starting my own pet rescue. I have been involved in several different rescues off and on, and I have learned a lot during that time. In 2018, our family moved out to 12 acres in the country and I could finally start to make my dream come true. I am married to David, and we have four children together: Jae, Elliot, Hope, and Benji. My in-laws live with us and help us maintain the property. Together we have over 30 pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, snakes, millipedes, turtles, and too many fish to count.

Jae

My name is Jae! I've always been extremely interested in all kinds of animals. The weirder the better. Snakes, spiders, rats, and rabbits are where my heart truly lies. I worked for a veterinarian for a short while, and learned a few first aid tips. After taking care of animals my whole life, I've figured out this is really the perfect job for me. I'm also going to go to college for a vet tech degree!

Todd

I've been obsessed with animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with multiple pets from livestock like goats, hogs and chickens to typical family pets such as dogs and cats to small animals like hamsters and guinea pigs. At some point I fell in love with reptiles. My extensive family of rescued turtles has earned me the nickname Turtle Todd among friends and family. My dream is to become a game warden.
